My endocrinologist called. I can start my thyroxine (synthetic thyroid) pills again on Friday, and can start eating normally anytime I want. This is slightly ironic, because I have no desire to eat anything. It is a nice thought, though.
I guess the swelling is my salivary glands. And it doesn't mean much of anything, just something that happens sometimes. I should drink lots of water, and it'll clear out in a few days. (I'm already guzzling the water, because the Dr. who gave me the pill told me that I should, so the radioactive waste-stuff doesn't hang around in my bladder too long, the bladder being sensitive to radiation and all.)
Now the lymph nodes in my neck are swollen too, and my throat hurts. *whine* I don't feel well. I feel too-drunk. Hot and cold chills, room-spins, all that fun stuff. I'm sipping ginger ale and boiling up some plain pasta. Hopefully that, and a return to my horizontal position, will help.
There are two icon sets (this one and the 'star' one) where the 'sick' icon isn't puking. That is why I use this icon set. I hate that little puking thing. Ugh.
