I fell asleep in my clothes last night at 7 pm. I woke at 9 to send the boys to bed, then slept until 7 am. I feel refreshed! lol.

This little bit o' irony came at me from the radio this morning:

Item 1: Weapons of Mass Disappearance
Current and former U.S. officials have begun to question whether the weapons will ever be found in anything like the quantities the U.S. suggested before the war — if found at all — and whether the U.S. gamed the intelligence to justify the invasion. (http://www.cnn.com/2003/ALLPOLITICS/06/09/timep.wmd.tm/index.html)

Chief U.N. weapons inspector Hans Blix, in an interview published Wednesday, accused U.S. officials of mounting a smear campaign against him.

The normally cool Swede, who is due to retire from his U.N. post at the end of the month, also said American officials pressured him to use more damning language when reporting on Iraq's alleged weapons programs.

[My WORD, whoever could have predicted THIS would happen??]

Item 2: White House rebukes Ariel Sharon for missile attack
Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was unapologetic Wednesday about the action, telling a Cabinet meeting that "when one talks about terrorism, there are no concessions," according to his office. (http://www.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/meast/06/11/mideast/index.html)

[Put the gun away, Tommy. We trademarked this heah War on Terrah, and we'll sue youah ass fer infringin' on it. Defendin' yer own citizins? Pfeh!]
