Pre-Radiation, Day One

I already feel tired. I'm sure that's psychological.

This low-iodine diet is going to be a colossal pain. I went shopping for food, and ended up with just fruits & veggies, as everything else I looked at was on the "no-no" list. The nectarines are yummy. The strawberries are kind of tasteless. I want Phat Thai. I did manage to make myself tired of ice cream last week, but I want a cup of chai in the worst way. Cooking dinner for the kids and making something separate for me is going to be a pain. The kids go to their fathers on Saturday, then it'll just be me.

My cool thing of the day comes from kahnman, who told me yesterday the metaphor he most often uses for me is "a sentient tornado."

The children will henceforth be referred to as "tornado-spawn."

Glad to oblige.
But seeing that you live in the USA, I would prefer if you signed a waiver, in case the dear tornado-spawn decide to sue me twenty years down the line, for "Cruel and Unreasonable Treatment" or some such. ;-)
