I'm sitting here at my computer, which is located on my desk (which is actually three desks arranged together), starting work on My Very First Workplan, having ticked three other items off today's "to-do" list.

I have a Workplan and Goals and stuff. I have an Assistant.

I think this means I'm a grownup now. Duuude.

Nah, my assistant happens to be a woman I've known since 1999 and who appreciates the beauty of slipping off one's sandals and going barefoot around the office...

... which is not to say I'll never wear the pointy stilettos, just that I won't wear them every day. Besides, she's only here three afternoons a week.
