Sim-Katrina has been working overtime posing for icons. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with these, as I like my current icons and am not going to pay for more.

Each of my children greeted me with hugs and kisses this morning. Eliza apologized for not being able to buy me a gift. I explained to her (and the boys) that I do not expect my children to buy me gifts, as I know that my children do not have jobs. (Then I thought about it and said that I do not expect gifts from anyone, as I consider gifts to be wonderful surprises which are freely given because the giver WANTS to share something and that expecting a gift takes much of the joy out of the experience.)

A friend is taking me out for sushi at lunch. Eliza has made me three crayoned birthday cards so far (and is shocking me with her spelling ability, when in hell did she go from "looking at the pictures and making it up because the words were indecipherable" to "for mom to opin [sic] happy brthday [sic] love eliza"???). Another friend has essentially ruled that my children will be going to their favorite drop-in daycare because she and I are going out to celebrate my birthday.

In other words: "yes!"

And whaddaya mean they don't look like me? What would you change? I had two young male advisors at my side critiquing each feature as I created this Sim.

maybe AS a Sim this is the closest you can get, and thus the kiddos think well of your results. But I've never really "seen" a Sim, and as such, am being too pedantic in comparing these to the damn-hot Real Thing [Tm].

Regarding the sim "you": The head is too long and narrow - this messes up way too many features (like a very high hairline). the eyes are too deep-set. Overall looks too "dorky". :-P All of these images are against a grey background, and dark at that. This ruins your fair complexion. Your Sim needs more sunshine!

The Real You [Tm] is SOOO much better. Now if only I could get to Missoula. ;-)
