Very tired now. Burly-guys never showed. Damn. I called my friend Heidi. "Hi, I haven't talked to you in a while, how are you, want to help me move? Right now? Thanks!" She and her wife, Kara, came over and we did some amazing box-hauling. All-dyke action, baby! There are now a bunch of boxes at the new place. A few of them (dishes and food) have been unpacked.

I'm heading back over there now to meet absurd_observer when he drops the kiddos off. James has been quite the little helper today.

None of the furniture has been moved, except for the rocking chair. Need a pickup and at least one burly-person. If the beds don't get moved tonight, we can all share the new futon that was delivered today.

I've helped friends move and been the only person who helped. Often been the only one who showed up, and not only moved boxes and furniture, but also helped unpack and paint. I've even had the displeasure of not being the only one who showed up but the only one who did anything. And everytime I've moved, if someone wasn't paid to help, my dad was the only person who helped. Good thing Daddy is one of those hurly burly men and he is still age defiant. I'm not looking forward to the moving aspect of moving out in a couple of years. I am looking forward to the not living with those people any more aspect, though.

Well, since my internet is dependent on my phone, and my phone won't be hooked up until Wednesday or Thursday, there's really no other way to reach me unless you're local! :-)

I suppose if you had a truly urgent message, you could contact absurd_observer or fuckingsilence and ask them to track me down and leave a note on my door or something...

Burly guys are not always the most reliable, unfortunately.

Neither are guys with trucks.

Bleh for moving... though hopefully it's to a good place, and hopefully not up a million stairs?

If Montana were a Little bit closer.. and maybe if I drove.. ;)
