I've got meetings today. I'm seeing my therapist in 30 minutes, and my WORC ('welfare to work') caseworker at 3:00. I don't want to leave the house. I've already been out once. I took the boys to day camp, dropped Eliza off at her sperm donor's, and went grocery shopping. Now I want to lock the doors and STAY HOME. I skipped my morning chai, hoping that without caffeine I wouldn't be panicky again today. No such luck. When I was a kid, my imaginary friend was really good for getting me through anxiety-ridden days. Maybe I need a new imaginary friend.

(((Hugs)))

After each meeting, treat yourself to something nice. A great cup of coffee, a few minutes in the park... That might help.

Good idea, thanks!!

I swear, I'd be very happy as a hermit.

I love you, love you, love you. Does your hermitic tendencies (*giggle giggle*) allow week-long visitors from NC later in the year? I'm just making sure....

As long as we've got a place to live, you're welcome to stay. :-)

Or you could pretend that your internet friends are with you. ;-) Because you know we'd be there if we could...

Hee! You know, I like that idea!

Here I was worried about looking foolish, talking to my imaginary friend. Nah, I'll just go for all-out psychotic, and talk to twenty-some invisible people! ;-)
