You're known for being brave, loyal and trustworthy, sometimes to a fault. But if the chips were down, we'd count on someone like you to help out or save our lives. We just hope you don't get yourself killed before we can cash in on that.
8. Someone comes up to you on the street and starts hassling you for money for 'a sandwich’ or 'a coffee'. It's pretty obvious that it's really alcohol he wants the money for. You:
A)Do as your mood takes you, sometimes you feel like giving a few extra quarters, sometimes you apologize and decline. B) Write down the number to the local shelter and give it to him, hope he uses it, and move on. You probably would have avoided him completely but he didn’t give you much choice. C)Give him some spare change. You always try to help out where you can. D)Honestly, like I want to give away my money, so a stranger can get wasted!? Tell him to get a job.
How about D) Buy the guy a beer! Some of us support alcoholism as a valid lifestyle choice! In fact, what about E) Invite him to the biker bar with you and your friends?
These webquizzes don't give you enough options!
By the way, based on the answers AVAILABLE to me, I'm destined for:
"A)Do as your mood takes you, sometimes you feel like giving a few extra quarters, sometimes you apologize and decline. Or F) make eye contact, tell the man you'd be happy to buy him a sandwich... if he accepts, buy two (and some light, easy to carry non-perishable snack food). Go back, sit down next to him, eat one sandwich, give him the rest, and learn something about how other people live. If he refuses the sandwich, ask if he knows where the local shelter is and wish him a (sincere) good day.
That option is just for cheesy do-gooders like me, of course..
