I am becoming

I just called dimfuture to check in about something. He has such a melodic* voice. Even when I hear his voice regularly, it catches me by surprise every time. It's the sort of voice where one could easily get lost listening to the sounds rather than the words.

And now I'm wondering just how long it's been since I did last hear his voice. Given my phone-phobia and all.

* I'm not sure "melodic" is the right word. It's like music, where there's the main tone but also other tones sort of weaving around underneath that main tone. And yes, I do get lost listening to him and have to say "Wait, what did you just say?"

After actually looking at my kitchen and dining room floor, I've decided it's "Pirate Gold." The color swatch on their website seems lighter than my floor. I'm still drooling over the "Midnight Blue." I want that floor.
