I want something which fills both the health and social-expectation functions of shoes, but feels like being barefoot.
I'm perfectly willing to wear shoes for foot protection, but damn it kills me to have to put my shoes back on every time I get up from my desk at work. (Kills me! No, really! It is just that bad! Smudged wineglasses, have to wear shoes... it's so hard being me!!)
