General Note to Blizzarded Folks
Feb. 13th, 2006 09:02 amHey, you've got my sympathy and respect. We've got things like city snowplows, snow shovels, a neighbor up the street with a blade attached to his pickup truck or riding lawnmower, sleds, skis, and all sorts of things to wear in snow. We still get just a tad freaked out when more than a foot of the stuff falls in a short period of time. Two feet is insane.
So virtual hot cocoa, spiked if you like, to all you folks shoveling snow, and especially to those of you who have nothing more suited to the task than a dustpan. Be careful on the roads, there's folks who don't know how to drive on snow out there.
(I'm just a wee bit envious that you get to shovel snow when I haven't gotten to do that for almost two years... and yes, it is generally acknowledged that this is Sick and Wrong.)
