Leapin' Lizards!

James and I both stayed home sick today. Sometime this morning, James asked if he could hold Insect Eater, our African Fat-tail Gecko. I said yes... after a few minutes, James called that Insect eater wasn't in his tank. This did not mesh with my version of reality... the lizard can't climb the glass walls of the tank.. so I asked if he were sure, told him to dig around in the flooring, etc. He did, and confirmed that Insect Eater was indeed NOT in the tank. This meant he'd been out of the tank since Thursday, when the kids last held him.

Ugh. I'm ill. I was really tired yesterday, and went to bed with a slight sore throat and headache. I woke up with a bad sore throat, roaring headache, stiff painful neck, and overall yuckiness. I stayed in bed and tried to sleep.
