DDR

The kids are playing DDR.

I swear they're deliberately choosing my favorite songs to play.

Thirty minutes and I'm commandeering the dance mat.

... Whoa. I just took a peek downstairs. Mark is on the dance mat. James and Eliza are playing along without dance mats. I was wondering how one skinny little kid could be so stompy. Now I know.

Now, there would be a fun family activity.. DDR on multi-player mode and two or three mats...

oh, dunno if you can get downloads for yours, but if you can see if you can find a copy of Aqua's "cartoon hero's"for DDR... Extreme!
let them try that one, and you'll have quiet kids for sometime afterwards!

Lik-sang.com sells, among other things, adapters to let you use dance pads on your pc. So you could, hypothetically speaking, install stepmania on your pc, get the adapter working, get a bunch of mp3s with stepfiles off of emule bittorrent jakeexperience
the net and then have over 1,000 quite a few free songs to dance to.

Seriously, I've got a metric sh-tload of songs for stepmania. I could send them to you over skype, which doesn't care how big the file is that you want to send. It'd be in .rar form, with the little folders with the songs preserved within the archive.
