Books!

Someone got a little overly ambitious with the public library's online catalogue.
  • Norman Maclean: A River Runs Through It and Other Stories, due 3/2/2006 (almost done) ETA: finished 2/12/06

  • Anna Freud: Before the Best Interests of the Child, due 3/4/2006 (Interlibrary Loan, just picked up)
  • Richard P. Feynman: Six Easy Pieces, due 3/12/2006 (just picked up)

I just finished the Maclean book. I also just left voicemail for the woman who sometimes substitutes for me at the front desk, asking about her availability for working over the next week or so. (I'm still trying to convince myself that I'm just tired. I'm not being very convincing.)

I don't feel any more sick this morning, but James had a pretty rough night and I don't want to leave him home alone. I'm using a few of those sick/vacation hours today. Hopefully I won't get sick and can spend that time on further "have everything in place and clean and caught up, for when I do get sick."

I hope I do, too. With two kids sick, as well as between 1/3 and 1/2 the office, catching it seems inevitable at this point. I'm not known for my robust immune system. :-\

Still washing my hands constantly, and glad we've already got a stock of good lotions (for Eliza's skin). I hardly ever need lotion.
