I have trouble making myself eat breakfast and make myself a decent lunch to take with me, too. I am trying really hard not to buy microwaveable food that comes frozen in a plastic tray because I already know how bored my palate will be after the first couple of days. I have to make Morgane lunch and breakfast, so you would think it would simply be a matter of doing mine while I do hers... but nooooo, that would be too practical and logical. Last night, I made myself a nice chef salad and put everything in plastic bowls to take with me to work (granted, I get an actual lunch break at the same time every day in a kitchen, no less, with a microwave, sink, refrigerator, and stove at my disposal). I also grabbed a large plum and threw that in my plastic grocery store bag (those things come in handy for lots of stuff, even though they are evil) and that is what I had for breakfast this morning. The hard part is going to be remembering to take out something to defrost for dinner tonight (which I haven't done and should have before I left the house this morning) so that I'll have leftovers to make lunch with for tomorrow. And then remembering to take some fruit so that I'll have breakfast.
Why is it so easy for me to handle everything that Morgane needs (packing her lunch, making her breakfast, packing her beach bag with toys, clothes, a towel, bug spray, and sunblock) but I can't do the same thing for myself?
