Dear Hardee's

As a general rule, it's best to have at least one competent employee scheduled for each shift. I understand this is the traditional role of the Shift Manager. Perhaps you might consider that model of ensuring that your employees are capable of taking and filling an order. That would be great.

Dear Self,
don't go all day without eating. It really makes everything else much harder to process.

PS: that unsweetened iced tea isn't doing much for your blood sugar, genius. Try food.

What I hate is going into a fast food restaurant for a quick bite to eat and having the clerk at the counter just stare at me and not say anything.

I then tell them that they should offer some statement of greeting when a customer approaches, such as
"Welcome to [restaurant] OR Good morning/afternoon/evening, [part B]"

And then offer suggestions for part B, such as
'What can I get for you?'
'Would you like to try a super meal?'
'How can I help you today?'

I have to keeo them by my bed so i don't get a low-blood sugar attack...damn that part of pregnancy!
Anyway...don't make me worry about your nutsack, eh?
